| BIOGRAPHY |
Joining Auchmill in 1976 playing in the Summer League, Dennis and the rest of the Auchmill team entered the Amateur ranks in the 77/78 season. After winning promotion the following season, Dennis tasted his first piece of silverware after winning the Division 5 League Title in the 1979/80 campaign. The next chapter came in the 1987/88 season, when Auchmill became the present day Bankhead FC, and he became Player/Manager. Fluctuating between divisions, Dennis had to wait until the 1998/99 season before tasting silverware once again, when his Bankhead team won the Chattan Rovers Cup. Another 8 years passed before he lifted the same trophy again during the 2006/07 campaign.
Over the years, Dennis has been top scorer between 1991-1995, played in every position (including twice between the sticks - never again), and still tries playing to this present day.
Likes: The Bankhead Pitch, Half time drinks and cakes, Vasaline and Pirie's Pants (?)
Dislikes: Getting his back, sack and crack waxed!!
Best Players: Past: Norman Cleverdon. Present: John "Stealth" Wallace (His Son-in-Law....) Not really, too much to name.
Funniest Moment: Pulling off the now legendry "Penguin" manoeuvre at Inverdee
