ABOUT THE CLUB

Welcome to the Bankhead AFC page. We are a Bucksburn-based Amateur football club who compete in Division 2 East of the Aberdeenshire AFA.

Times have been hard lately, with players coming and going (mostly the latter) in the past few seasons, with only the core of the team remaining. Our main objective every week seems to be getting 11 players, but with having so much offshore workers, injury problems and downright homosexuals, we find it very difficult. Since the 05/06 season, the team have had it's ups and downs (literally) with Relegation, Trophy Wins, Promotion and Relegation survivals. However, one thing will always remain - the atmosphere, humour and downright sillyness inside the dressing room which keep us all going!
